The location is fantastic, just a short walk from museums and the National Mall. The room was small and lacked privacy in the bathroom area. I appreciated the iPad controls for everything; they were fun but could be finicky. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining options nearby are limited.

My recent stay in this fantastic hotel made exploring the heart of Washington, D.C. a breeze, as it is just a ten-minute stroll to Independence Avenue, where the incredible National Air and Space Museum and other iconic sights are found, plus it's around the corner from the E’lephant metro stop for even more convenience; the friendly and professional staff also contributed to an enjoyable experience with clean and beautifully decorated rooms, great breakfast options, and a well-equipped gym for staying active, but it would have been nice to have some extra amenities in the rooms like lotion and shampoo, which could enhance the overall experience.

Great location near L'Enfant Plaza; ideal for exploring the National Mall. Rooms are cozy and clean—consistent with past experiences. Innovative tech features are cool but not always reliable; our room's iPad died, and no one followed up despite our report. The automated check-in feels impersonal; I prefer interaction, especially when traveling. Rooms lack space and comfort; I expected more from a king suite. Limited amenities, like no coffee maker, and mediocre bedding overshadow the positives. Staff are friendly but not particularly accommodating. The art and design elevate the atmosphere, yet the layout and service left me feeling cramped and overlooked. An interesting stay, but I wouldn't choose this model again.

Enjoyed piling my plate at the hot & cold breakfast buffet – felt like a feast fit for a queen. The 43-inch LED TV in my room made me feel extra fancy while lounging in bed.

I loved being just a few blocks from the National Mall and only a short 10-minute stroll to the District Wharf, making it super easy to explore all the amazing things in downtown DC and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with my mother, plus the room was beautiful and comfy with great amenities like a big fluffy towel and king-sized pillows, but the mini fridge didn't work and maintenance never showed up despite my request.

The room layout was a nightmare; the bed cramped against walls, making midnight bathroom trips an obstacle course. Plus, the frosted glass bathroom offered zero privacy. It felt more like a tech playground than a comfortable hotel. Definitely not worth the price.

Had a blast exploring the city from the hotel's prime location, just a hop from the national mall and museums. First off, the room was super sleek and clean – major points for that. But man, it felt like a game of Tetris trying to move around the cramped space. And I couldn't believe they only gave us one towel for a room booked for two people! Had to beg for more like Oliver Twist. Trying to get the room temperature just right was like dealing with a moody teenager – it never got as chilly as we wanted. And forget about controlling the air conditioner properly, it had a mind of its own. Plus, the bed situation? Don't get me started. We had to play human Tetris just to get comfy while sleeping. Now, the tech stuff was cool – controlling the room with an iPad made me feel fancy. And the staff were pretty helpful during check-in and check-out. But man, the water pressure in the sink was a joke. I couldn't even wash my face properly! And don't get me started on those massive pillows – felt like I was sleeping on a cloud made of concrete. Woke up feeling like I got run over by a truck. Despite the fancy gadgets and friendly staff, the room issues really put a damper on my stay. And the whole charity donation without my consent thing? Not cool, Citizenm, not cool.

The staff went above and beyond for my daughter's birthday, surprising us with balloons and a card, plus a free breakfast. The location was top, notch, with easy access to public transportation and a safe neighborhood. The modern amenities like app, controlled lighting added a nice touch to the stay.
Breakfast was pricey and underwhelming, with mediocre food quality for the cost. Limited dining options nearby made it less convenient for meals.

stayed at citizenM and it was a very good hotel! loved the hip, fun, colorful ambiance. the staff/ambassadors were incredibly helpful and happy. the location was excellent for all the touristic facilities.

The 24/7 availability was perfect for my unpredictable schedule, and the bar/lounge was a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
